Your discussion is excellent! I agree with your argument that the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and the Payroll service are crucial technological tools with regard to HR and employee recruitment. The importance of HRMS in employee recruitment cannot be underscored. Through the integration with other e-recruitment tools, the HRMS assists in employee recruitment by helping reach a bigger pool of potential employees (Johnson & Gueutal, 2011) . Other benefits of the HRMS in relation to hiring include acting as a control to the onboarding process, clear designation of each employee’s roles, and helping new employees feel connected to their peers. The payroll service software is also crucial in employee recruitment. They assist in the accurate and quick processing of various data relating to compensations of new employees, such as bonuses, payslips, holiday pay, and taxes. Conclusively the use of technological tools in employee recruitment results in numerous benefits, including but not limited to time and cost savings, efficiency, and flexibility.

The discussion post is great. I agree with your discussion post that there are several technological tools that can be used in HR, particularly with respect to employee recruitment. However, you could have made your discussion better by selecting two of these tools and providing an elaborate discussion on them instead of giving superficial details on several of them. The Human Resource Management System (HRMS) would have been a good pick given its criticality in managing human resource data. Examples of HRMS software are BambooHR, TriNet, and Ceridian Dayforce. HRMS tools could be integrated with other employee recruitment tools to help improve the quantity and quality of job applicants and cost-effectively manage the whole recruitment process (SHRM). The applicant tracking system could also have been an excellent pick. Applicant tracking systems involve online application systems that include, amongst others, behavioral assessment tools that assist in the cost-effective and timely recruitment of employees (Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), n.d.). The systems also help achieve an improved quality of the hired individuals.
