I find it prudent to agree with the analysis of John G. Stoessinger on why nations go to war. For instances, it is true that most of the wars that the world is witnessing today is fueled by the leaders who in one way or the other want to show their superiority over others. For to note, various presidents from these countries; Iraq, Afghanistan, and the wars between Arabs and Israelis in Gaza and Lebanon have made remarks that in one way or the other leads to war among nations.
Furthermore, I conquered with John G. Stoessinger that causes of war are related to power-sharing issues. To date, some countries cause war so that they may take control of specific resources like gold mining of a particular state just as John G. Stoessinger claimed that Osama bin Laden was Afghan freedom fighter expelled from the family to show resistance to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan thus leading to the fight after the fall of East European communism in late 1989.
