Most Christians all over the world believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ which is recorded in the New Testament in the book of Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, and the letters of Paul. It is the fundamental rock of the Christianity faith. As most Christians believe in the second coming of the Messiah who was the first to resurrect from the dead. However, currently, as the world modernizes the biblical truth has been attacked by several groups of people for instance scientists, atheists, and pagans this has resulted in distortion of information and to some extents creating doubts among church followers and believers.
As Christians try to explain to these groups of people, they tend to confuse them. Scientists prefer proof over theory and want everything to be based on experimental results and logistics; economists rationalize on the present financial challenges and how to solve them thus a future belief seems to be in futile. Although these are the thoughts of the modern man, a need arises to further explain to him in the eternal life as the second coming draws nearby near each day. Also, most deeds of today's man are the need to explore for another life and superstitious thus most believe of a higher divine power apart from God. Christians are therefore at a more compelling time to explain the truth about God to dispel any other false teachings that are circulating the world 1 . Christians should clarify that there is no rational way to describe Christ's deed and the reason for following Him are because one has to first believe in Him, they believe in His resurrection. It is all about faith in Christ as Apostle Paul says that our faith is inclined in His rising from the dead. 2

Currently, the primary challenge in convincing the modern of the resurrection of Jesus is because we rely on historical recordings which most of them claim may have been tampered.
Paul’s error was slightly different as there were witnesses to stand by his words. Nevertheless the modern world has relied on historical readings to progress with the advancements that have occurred over time 3 . Thus, if they to doubt as also some recordings have been disapproved, there must be an element of truth from this doctrine. Furthermore the new testament according to historical sources which are accepted as the truth it meets the requirements. Facts from the gospel books verify resurrection occurred. A tomb heavily guarded by the Roman Empire soldiers and which was sealed by a massive stone was found to be empty the body of the Messiah was missing. Since the Roman Empire was the one that had conspired against Christ and had Him arrested and executed they could not have benefited from the story that was spreading that Christ had risen. In fact, they could have covered another tale to curb it and limit the spread of an emerging cult that claimed that Jesus was the Messiah and king of Jews.
Another fallacy that is said is that the disciples could have gone for Jesus. It is quite a lie as all of them fled for their lives immediately Christ was captured by the Roman authorities. Peter one of His staunch follower denied Him three times before the cock crew. It was until they witnessed His resurrection that most of them believed in Him fully and were ready to lose their life for Christ as they were spreading the gospel all over the world as recorded in the book of Acts most of them were persecuted and killed. It gets more compelling when the scriptures continue to explain that He appeared among His disciples although the body was transformed. It means He no longer had an earthly body but a new heavenly body which was not restrained by time, matter and space. It was the first time this was happening as he defeated death unlike those people who He had raised and other prophets had raised as they lived like ordinary people and later died again. He had acquired a new body that does not die again. Most of the disciples could not believe which may also pose a question for other doubters. However, He could appear among them in big crowds and showed them the scars that were inflicted on Him by the Roman soldiers. Also, He appeared in person, and we are not told that they had visions as these would raise doubts that since they could have a profound yearning to meet Him again, they could hallucinate meeting Him. Visions and resurrection seem to change all disciples and when they receive the Holy Spirit after Christ had died on the cross and they were forgiven of their sins the helper was able to reside in them, and they acted with a renewed strength in them.
Most disciples were not as active and devoted when Christ used to live among them. However, after the resurrection, they were changed forever. It might go with historical evidence that an encounter with supernatural being changes the deeds of an individual to do moral and kind acts.
Protests by the modern man on believing in miracle make it impossible to believe in the resurrection. Scientists claim those who believed in these miracles were naïve and superstitious. Although this is wrong as Peter who was a fisherman saw Jesus walking on water, and He tried himself but sank after he lost faith. Peter who used to go fishing using a boat knew that laws of nature were broken. Scientist dismisses these claim as they believe in rules which are fixed. Christians cannot think these as there are many things in life go against those scientific laws 4 . A Christian should not believe in the theory of how the earth came into existence as it does not include God and also has so many loopholes. Miracles are beyond the ordinary human imagination, and since science deals with standard, it does not stand a chance in critiquing the resurrection. The fact that their inconsistencies in the gospel books on mere details are absolute proof of the authenticity of resurrection since it is historical recordings of different individuals thus prone to variances.
Resurrection truth tells Christian that God stills controls the world and it's neither humans nor nature since none can explain the coming back to the life of Jesus Christ. It reminds us that indeed God loved us as He would agree to sacrifice His son to ensure that we would be forgiven and saved. His works, preaching, and personality was a clear indicator He was indeed the son of God 5 . The fear of death should be eliminated in Christians as Christ defeat the greatest enemy for us thus we are assured that we have eternal life after this life. Harmonization of the physical and spiritual life of the service is God assured as sin has been removed. It also means that the body, soul, and mind are retained indicated by the empty tomb it’s only changed to conform to the eternal life.
Conclusion
Belief in resurrection shows our faith in the love God has for us. It makes death a renewal of the soul as one passes from one life to another and new life. It makes us view life as a test we undergo to ensure our moral compass is the life of Christ on earth. As Jesus lived in this world, it means that sinful Adam in us has been replaced with a new king. It gives Christian testimony of our life on earth and to remember that death is the time God considers us fit to go and be with him.
