Britain is a unitary country that has devolution, which is found within the frameworks of a parliamentary democracy placed under a constitutional monarch where the monarch is the head of the state and prime minister, the head of the government. Currently, every person above the age of 18 can vote in Britain except for some criminals, lords, and mentally ill, where voting is a secret, and no one is allowed to see another person’s vote. In a parliamentary form of governance, the legislature holds the highest seat while in the presidential form of governance, the president holds the highest rank and seat in governance. The prime minister is responsible in selecting all other ministers in Britain, and the prime minister, together with other senior-most ministers are responsible in making the decisions in the country and belong to the Cabinet (parliament.uk, 2020) .
