The article I selected from the SPARQ website is entitled "To Help Groups Like Each Other, Combine Them" (Zheng, L., 2018) which summarizes a research article (Gaertner, S. L., Mann, J., Murrell, A., & Dovidio, J. F., 1989) on the topic. In the article, the primary research method of study used is the qualitative research design. It entails collection of samples and grouping of variables to carry out a research analysis. It results in the formulation of findings which are of high quality especially after a standard research analysis has been carried out. In the article, the author collected a sample of 180 women and 180 men who were requested to respond to 10 items, and in the end, 6 participants'' results were chosen for analysis.

I believe that use of qualitative research design was the most appropriate to use because the research entailed sampling of both men and women so that they would be mixed in the end to achieve the primary goal of the study which is to help groups of different cultural backgrounds to like each other. Additionally, the chosen participants were chosen and grouped into 3-person groups to analyze and ensure that they began to love each other more and more after realizing that they belong to one final group.

Hence, the significant ethical implication of the selected study is informed consent. This means that before carrying out such research, the researcher should first ensure that the target population is willing to participate comfortably without any problems. Hence, grouping people who have different cultures together should be made open so that as they interact, they are more aware of the implications and what is expected of them.
