In medicine, Artificial Intelligence (AI) uses computers’ power to analyze electronic data realms about patients, hence excels at complex identification of patterns at high speed and scale beyond human capacity. In education, AI makes learning more flexible, accessible, and successful. As AI research grows rapidly, it indicates that technology systems could perform more responsibilities in the future, but cannot entirely replace humans.

AI Future in Medicine and Education

In the future, AI-based systems could be as dependable as physicians in disease diagnosis and treatment, thus helping medical practitioners make better health care decisions at the right time. They include computer powered systems that can analyze patients' DNA sequences, ages, health status, medical history and images, and test results (Buch, Ahmed & Maruthappu, 2018). Therefore, they could unlock clinical information hidden in massive data, learn from it and improve decision making accuracy. Similarly, AI in education could improve schools’ and teachers’ innovativeness in understanding students’ progress (Holmes, Bialik, & Fadel, 2019). The systems will provide personalized learning, simplify administrative tasks, and automate time-consuming activities such as checking tests and grading students. With multiple AI technology systems, programs and applications, education, and medical services could become more personalized, flexible, and accessible.

Humans’ Roles in the AI Future

Future integration of AI technology into clinical practice and education does not mean the replacement of humans, since it will build a mutually beneficial relationship. Artificial Intelligence will offer medical personnel cost-effectiveness and higher health care provision efficiency. It will also assist teachers with significant tasks and help students at any time. On the other hand, humans will provide the imagination and creativity to improve AI technology. Additionally, patients and students could still prefer human interaction as it encompasses emotional and social skills.

Conclusion

Artificial Intelligence could bring drastic changes in the future of medicine and education. However, people should not worry about replacement by AI systems because they are not as empathetic as humans. These technologies will make these industries better but are highly unlikely to replace medical practitioners and teachers completely.
