By providing job opportunities for youths, the initiative has helped reduce numerous social ills brought forth due to unemployment ( Accra, 2011) and (Menu, 2018) . Such social ills include joblessness, drug and substance abuse, reduced crime rate, and enhanced economic activities among the young people (Brajević, Babić & Jukić, 2015). The initiative has also helped solve the problem of garbage disposal, with many selling their plastic wastes to the company for re-use.
