The world wars are among the most memorable parts of history, which brought about many diverse effects. The results included massacre and massive property destruction among many negative impacts. However, despite the negatives that come with the conflicts, positive outcomes were also recorded during and after the wars. This paper addresses the role played by imperialism and nationalism in the outbreak of WWI, the impacts of the wars in Europe and Middle-East, and the technologies which emerged during WWII.

Nationalism and imperialism were the primary triggers of the wars. Established nations wanted to gain relevance around the globe by having multiple territories in other regions, which triggered the wars. Germany and Japan wanted to control most part in Europe and Asia. This didn't go well with the competitors and victim nations sparking a fight that led to massacres and property destruction. Russia wanted countries to use the communism while the USA voted for capitalism. Therefore, as these two countries tried to convince nations to use their way, the war broke out.
