In my opinion the evidence does not directly prove that Broussard knew who the account owners were since the hackers dealt with issues to do with the accounts. From an ethical perspective however, it does not matter whether Broussard knew if the accounts belonged to real customers in the first place since he was planning to use them for illegal business ( Zhu,et al.,2018). He also got them from hackers,meaning he wanted to cover his tracks and not compromise his plans. The company itself also must have a terms and conditions document that is available during transactions for customers and this should point out his refusal to acknowledge the matter. He cannot as a customer had logically engaged their services without giving a bother to any terms and conditions and yet he was transporting seemingly important cargo.

FedEx had an ethical obligation to take steps to protect its customers from theft since that is what gave them credibility as a business and brand. They are a company that is well known for transportation and theft of this nature looks very bad for their brand ( Gao,et al.,2018). They need to have a review of the situation and enquire from the people involved what really happened. They should have discussions with relevant stakeholders who can show them practical ways of dealing with the situation,these may include computer scientists and IT specialists. It is from these discussions that they will make an adequate decision on how to deal with the matter.They may decide to invest more in virtual security softwares or hire the services of an IT specialists who will look into the hack.
