Focus on workplace environment continues to take shape with more studies and investor interests geared towards ensuring that staff welfare remains attended. Nurses play a critical role in a social setting, and their workplace emotional state remains essential for the success of healthcare systems. The discussion offers summaries to various articles used in the paper as corroborating material in justifying the impacts of workplace bullying among new nurses in health facilities. 

The article by Leong & Crossman (2016) focuses on the transitional stages from graduate to practice environments. The qualitative study sees the authors discuss the aspects of tough love that over the years has been used to justify the bullying of new nurses increasing challenges experienced in practice. The article strength lies in the contextualization of experiences new nurses encounter when they get to practice. The weakness of the article is that it can be easily used into justifying bullying as tough love exercised by the experienced practitioners into easing the new graduates into practice.

The article weakness as a source bases on its generalizability as it was focused only on respondents from Virginia.

(2018) investigates the impact of workplace incivility and burnout that is experienced by new nursing staff; the role of anxiety within the context of workplace and how exhaustion might cause bullying among new nurses. The article’s strength anchors on the innovative examination of resilience among nurses and how burnout management creates affect the relationship among nurses. The article’s weakness points to the reliability of self-assessment reports as a survey method in data collection. 

The article Islam, Ahmed, & Ali (2019) investigates the role of ethical leadership in organizations and their effects on employee behavior. The article strength bases on its originality and contribution to the literature on ethical leadership in the nursing profession. The article highlights the different aspects that include work environment and conditions employees are subject. The article weakness remains the focus area that is only limited to bullying and voice behavior as opposed to the impact of bullying on leadership and organizational support to work environment engagement.
