Technology provides a natural as well as a successful way of advancing student-centered learning. Since technology is both very adaptable and inherently rousing to understudies, it is especially appropriate to grow the learning background. Technology can prepare students to autonomously sort out their learning procedure. Along these lines, rather than being uninvolved beneficiaries of data, students and teachers utilizing technology connect get to be distinctly dynamic clients. 

Technology encompasses a classification of web-based tools, involving online community engagement methodology, the capability of generating or showing user-generated content, and dynamic response measures. Technology enables is an exceptional platform to manage the affairs of students. Indeed, innovations are becoming becoming fundamental in learning institutions in assessing the needs pertaining to the communications of students. Over the years, the utilization of technology in student affairs has been slow since most of the student affairs encompass face-to-face exchanges ( Schaffhauser, 2011) . However, the use of technologies and social media platforms has been attaining major milestones in the world of student affairs and influencing leadership as well as the development of students. In other words, by engaging the students and applying the diversity enabled by technology platforms, the needs of students can be assessed effectively and the needs of such students are aided in the classroom.

An example of a technology that is making great inroads in the classs setting is Mimio Connect. Mimio Connect is an interactive teaching platform that contains a wide scope of activities and lessons that can be used with the Mimio white board in the class setting. The technology is convenient, simple to use, and is bound to revolutionize the traditional teaching approach (Mimio Connect, n.d) . Mimio Connect has a profound impact on the class and students since it enables a greater diffusion of concepts and has enabled a student-centered learning process. 

In each class setting, the instructor is presented with a responsibility of generating programs that generate all-inclusive student progress and growth. The use of technology can be helpful in aiding the institutions to come up with programs as well as policies, which will have a deep effect on student development, as well as making the institutions of learning purposeful, open, just, disciplined, caring and celebrative communities (Schaffhauser, 2011). To develop such a community, the faculty and the student affairs should accept the use of tecnology in the classroom. Utilization of technology has a major impact on creating a comfortable, inclusive, educational and a social community where the interactions amongst students and teachers are fostered (Bitner & Bitner, 2002) . Many innovative platforms are also dynamic since they enable development by integrating technologies such as crowdsourcing to assign responsibilities to large student groups concurrently. Besides, they enable online interactions using social media, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are capable of aiding students to build an online community that can rise above the web (Howard Technology, 2011). Through the blogs, the students can network, comment and offer feedback to other students. In reality, the online interaction fundamental in overpowering the bottlenecks of distance as well as other time obligations, to hold a wide-array of ideas and perspectives. 

Besides, the application of technology in the classroom includes certain forms of social media, including YouTube and Flickr to offer innovative forums for students where they can share videos and photos within the learning community. Through designation of a community-specific site, the students can post pictures and videos of programs affirming the traditions and values along with the sense of the community amongst the life of the residents (McCrea, 2010). More importantly, the innovative platforms can also be utilized by the student affairs to evaluate the traditions and values of the learning community. For instance, the use of survey monkey along with other virtual classroom sites are also significant in creating modules that the students can fill out based on their knowledge of diverse aspects within the learning community. Moreover, the utilization of the platform for users to ask queries on the topics from which more information is needed is also useful in enabling the students know the learning community better. 

Overall, technology can be integrated at the classroom or school to boost the students’ score. First, the school should combine online instruction for individual students and tailor them to suit the academic needs as well as interests of the students. In other words, embracing a blended learning is likely to boost the score because the lessons are customized. Secondly, at the classroom, teachers who are accessible to electronic devices desktops, laptops, or interactive white-boards should integrate them into their lessons such that when students search the internet, they can get everything that the teachers captured in their lessons. Through this, the teachers can assign homework, present illustrated lectures, guide class discussions because the powerful electronic devices can support such activities When used effectively, the students can use technology to get access to rich information that would help them improve their scores in various subjects.
