The implementation of specific quality and safety initiative is a broad aspect that should encompass a diverse approach. My implementation of a safety initiative to minimize cases of accidents within healthcare organizations will take a four-way approach. Firstly, I will focus on Microsystems within the healthcare facility. This is because the implementation of specific quality and safety initiative cannot be a success without collaboration among the healthcare professionals (Morley & Cashell, 2017). Thus, I will ensure that all the interrelated personnel in the health facility are included in the implementation process. Secondly, I will focus on understanding the principles underlying the chosen specific quality and safety initiative. In this case, the action is primarily designed to reduce accidents within the healthcare organization and involves the sensitization of healthcare professionals and patients. Understanding my approach will be ideal in ensuring that I can address the challenges and effectively manage their impacts. This means that I will be approaching success in my implementation.
My next channel of implementing the safety initiative will comprise of specific measures that will monitor the implementation progress. Tracking the progress of implementation is essential because it provides insights on the success of the initiative. It is also through monitoring of progress that the challenges of an initiative can be evaluated and in return, implement mitigation strategies. It is good to acknowledge this approach because it ensures that the implementation process is aligned with the set goals and objectives of the healthcare organization. The latter approach to my implementation of the specific quality and safety initiative will involve the incorporation of practical tools that target the enhancement of quality improvement. There is a need to utilize the information that I will have gathered under the monitoring process and introduce viable tools to support my implementation. These channels adequately explain how I will implement my specific quality and safety initiative.
