European expansion was critical in developing and creating a more civilized world. The importance of European development was essential not only to the European notion but also to the non-European nations. Christopher Columbus, for instance, was one of the explorers of the world ( Conrad, 2019). They did not only find many routes that connect different parts of Europe but also enhanced the exchange of many items and ideas that would later develop the world. Although European expansion also had different negative sides, such as the crusade and slavery, it was also beneficial to both Europe and an on-European.
One of the positive impacts on both the European and non-European people is industrial development. The Voyages of Christopher Columbus expanded on different aspects, such as the trade-in various countries such as Spain ( Bailey, 2019). The results were that there was an expansion of different ideas that lead to adverse development in farm and industrialization both in Europe and America. Furthermore, there was an expansion of trade routes that later become the routes through which people were using to enhance trade to both European and non-European countries in the world ( Conrad, 2019). Trade for luxuries such as spices and silk inspired European explorers to seek new routes to Asia, Spain, African, and Portugal. In this sense, these trade routes were benefiting both of these countries and people.

Other than that, the rise of the slave trade was also due to the exploration and expansion of the world, and this would later come to influence not only Europe but also America and other countries. The slave trade was the source of development to countries such as France and America ( Bailey, 2019). These people were the labor force, and this leads to critical agricultural and industrial development. The crusade was another way through which the expansion of the world took place. The impact of the crusade on religion spread across the world was critical to both European and non-European countries. For instance, it was one of the reasons that lead to the spread of Christianity in most of non-European countries ( Conrad, 2019). It also can be pointed out as one of the reasons that lead to the spread of Islamic in most of the Christian-based countries. World expansion and exploration was also other reasons that leads to diversity in the world ( Bailey, 2019). Due to such freedom, there were a lot of intermarriages and this lead to diversity. With diversity, therefore, new ideas came in, and this leads to an expansion in different sectors in different countries in the world.
Despite the positive side of the expansion of the European world, there were numerous side effects. An excellent example of this was the spread of death that led to a reduction of the population across the globe. During the expansion of the European territory into different countries such as America, there were revolutionary wars ( Lopez, Peixoto & Rosado, 2019). These would later lead to a lot of death and destruction to both European and non-European countries. The slave trade and spread of oppression was another effect of the expansion of the world to both western and non-western countries ( Conrad, 2019). To those who were facing abuse, they later assumed third citizenship positions of different countries and had to struggle for their freedom. For the oppressive masters and countries, they assumed a negative image that is still haunting them to date.
Also, there were a lot of infectious diseases that attacked both non-European and European countries. The condition was spreading from one part of the country to next, affecting both the foreigners and the inhabitants of different countries in equal measures ( Bailey, 2019). Lastly, the environmental destruction as trade routes were being put in place also affected people equally despite the areas of their origin. Therefore, the expansion of the world affected both European and non-European countries in nearly equal measures. Both of them benefited from different trade routes, diversity, and religion. However, they also faced negative consequences, such as diseases, environmental destruction, and deaths.
