The Jung Typology personality test measures one’s ability to interact with the environment. I was able to complete this type of personality test from the internet in an attempt to gauge my personality. First, I am an individual who has a slight preference for extraversion over introversion. I am an outgoing and friendly person who likes to talk and listen to what other people are saying. Secondly, I use my intuition over sensing as I always come up with new ways of getting things done. I always analyze the possible future consequences of a present action before taking any steps, and I look at how the decisions will affect other people. I tend to consider feeling over thinking, and therefore I consider other people’s feelings before uttering anything that may upset them. Finally, I have insignificant partiality of judging over perceiving, and this is evident in that I always tend to make a plan of things and follow them up to the latter. My sibling would agree with these results and say I am outgoing, empathetic, rational, and considerate.
The Big Five personality traits are administered to determine the suitability of an individual for a position in a workplace. These big five traits measured are extraversion, agreeableness, and openness to experience, emotional stability and conscientiousness (Little, 2016). My results from the Big Five personality tests show that I am open to experience, responsible and well organized, social and outgoing, compassionate and understanding, and relaxed in most situations. From an employer’s perspective, I would be a successful employee because I am a person who can be depended on to accomplish tasks in a well-organized manner. I would also be able to fit into a team because I am outgoing and will bring new ideas into the team, and resolve conflicts as they arise. One trait I should work on is on my agreeableness by developing skills that help me to be more critical before making any decision. The big five personalities enable me to be a potential employee and leader of an organization.
