The purpose of the project previously reported and reviewed was to analyze the need for technological change within the company. The reviewed change concerned the use of software in the company in various work areas. The software programs under review were the COTS and non-COTS. The Commercial off the Shelf Software are products that are useful in the replacement of proprietary systems. The project also emphasized on the viability of FAACI using the Honey Badger, LLC Consultation in carrying out various tasks. In essence, the tasks completed during the entire project duration have been meant to review the feasibility of change of technology and the impact that must be expected with the reports being submitted to FAACI. Additionally, the project aims to increase information security because of various modern risks such as cybercrime. The project focused on capacity building to ensure smooth transition into advanced systems. Significantly, the project has managed to pinpoint various problems and sub problems being faced by FAACI and create recommendations on solutions for marketing, training, tracking, and policies. In essence, these solutions and problems were discussed in the solution Alternative Document that brought out various issues related to the COTS and Non-COTS solutions.

Description and review of various levels of marketing for consideration in the decision-making process on the best software solutions for FAACI 

Analysis of both COTS and Non-COTS systems based on the personalization level of marketing 

Comparison between COTS and non-COTS on the basis of security, especially in accounting and avoidance of unauthorized access 

Analysis of both system solutions based on flexibility 

Review of the systems to ascertain which of the two options is efficient in terms of supporting clients preference  

Analysis of the software programs on the basis of ownership. For instance, the Non-COTS was considered a property of the organization. 

Research on Information technology policy and its implications to the project 

Research on the infosec policy to determine the policy solutions for the organization in regards to the use of software programs. 

Review of InfoSight to determine the right policies for the organization while implementing the utilization of the COTS software 

Complete analysis of the ISO 2700 and NIST CSF frameworks  

Zeroing in on the specific solutions related to COTS systems  

Testing and examining the three COTS solution determined in the last submitted report. 

Research and analysis of various domains, which include the use of the internet web, the use of electronic Email, and personal computer system. 

Review of the organization's security culture and the role the organization has been playing in information security against its actual responsibility in regards to the security of information. 

Assessment of the organizations existing infrastructure such as the computer system, communication infrastructure, and how secure these systems are. 

Comparison of the various training packages to ensure that there is an informed decision-making process for FAACI 

Review of the pros and cons of info sight training package 

Assessment of the skills to be learned through the personal information certification training offered by information shield 

Assessment of the infosec IQ training's goals and objectives and its impact on the trainees. 

Briefing of the instructor via zoom meeting on the progress of the project.

Development of a technology advancement plan for FAACI 

Updating of software programs to improve the performance of the organization 

Developing the skills of personnel in the organization to be able to deal with new problems in the market as well as to enhance the compatibility of human resources with the new technology. 

Tasks Expected To Be Complete Before Next Report 

Installation of mobile device management suite and mobile application management suite for tracking of products 

Implementation of all policies designed during the project 

The recruitment and orientation of CISO helped create policies working in conjunction with the FAACI team. 

Follow up on the progress achieved through the implementation of new FAACI policies. 

Assessment of the gaps exists after full implementation of the recommendations made in the last report and those achieved after the realization of the project's objectives. 

Challenges Affecting Completion Date 

The involvement of various teams causing slower delivery due to the need for consultations, reporting, and reviews. 

The need to hire personnel such as the CISO to ensure delivery of some tasks 

Lack of funds to continuously carry out tasks such as training.
