Globalization is a phenomenon that covers a wide range of political economic or even social frontiers (‘What Is Globalization?’, n.d.). It is an indication of how wide influence or dominance extends. Within philosophy, it also means an extent to which diverse influences and perspectives of thought have a bearing on the worldviews in certain localities. Liberalism and free-thinking ideologies and their spread are tagged to globalization (‘A Philosophy of Globalization,’ n.d.). The spread of the western culture of doing things, acceptable modes of cultures as well as extremes of tolerance have spread through the globe courtesy of the wave of globalization.
Like everything that spreads, there are ups and downs. It is impossible to dismiss the entire globalization as unethical or hurtful. Some elements have been of immense value, key being technology and the ease with which it has made life doable. Healthy labor practices have been applied to former slave labor territories (Goldberg & Pavcnik, 2007). Nonetheless, there has been moral erosion within most quotas courtesy of globalization. False news is now a real menace that both governments and individuals have to grapple with the world over. Practices that were considered a taboo in most cultures have been eroded. Dressing codes, as well as sanity indecency, have significantly been affected (Meyer, 2000).

Globalization is a force that can be exploited for good and evil (Sang-Hyup Shin, 2009.). To create an environment where good thrive it is essential that a concrete understanding is established in all peoples. Free sharing of knowledge will help achieve this. This is where everyone is aware of what happens the world over, and thus choices are easily made on a substantial body of knowledge as opposed to perceived nobility of certain culture s(Mussa, 2003). Within each community, there ought to exist, key proponents, that through influence easily offer direction to a people. A key department like that of culture in a state would easily bring this to pass. Cultural exchange programs to benchmark on best practice help the spread of quality and virtue.
