Sustainable energy is a form of renewable energy obtained from natural sources like solar, ocean, wind, or biomass among other numerous sources. Notably, this form of energy is environment-friendly, as it is clean and non-polluting; it does not contain the adverse effects of global warming (Chu, Cui & Liu, 2017). Above all, it is an effective, reliable, and efficient source since it is cost-effective and can be used without depletion. Geothermal power involves harnessing heat from the reservoirs of hot molten magma, steam, or hot water of the earth's crust to generate electric power. Besides, geothermal power is a renewable source because it entails the conversion of a massive amount of energy reserved by the globe to electricity generation (Hassan, 2014). Additionally, as tapping and utilizing of power beneath the crust progresses, the molten magma continually produces heat at the same rate. Solar power energy is a dependable form of renewable source, as it manifests in the renewal of heat and light energy from the sun. The heat and light are tapped by electric gadgets such as solar panels or plants for electricity. Furthermore, solar is inexhaustible and unlimited in supply since the sun provides energy each day it rises. The long-term prospects are based on the fact that geothermal and solar energy provide base-load energy with reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Similarly, there is a plan to reduce fossil fuel dependency by residents and commercials. Hence, technology embraces geothermal and solar energy (Hassan, 2014). Moreover, geothermal and energy from the sun are almost everywhere on earth and are cost-effective for both residential and commercial.
