Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907)

This art is shocking for its execution and content. The central matter of naked women is not in itself unusual, though the fact that Picasso designed the women as prostitutes in sexual positions that are aggressive is novel. The studies of Picasso about tribal and Iberian art are mostly seen in the faces of the women on the painting that is considered mask-like, indicating that their sexuality is not only hostile but also primitive.

Marcel Duchamp Fountain, 1917

Fountain has been viewed as an example that is quintessential of what is known as a readymade. It happens to be an object that is ordinarily manufactured created by Duchamp as an artwork. The artist bought a urinal from a supplier of sanitary equipment and arranged it or submitted it as a work of art. However, there has been a debate about whether it should be considered a work of art.

The topic is derived from the metamorphosis of Orvid that is an essential oeuvre of the literature of Latin. Venus is displayed in the art without clothes on a shell on the seashore. On the left side of Venus, the wind is gently blowing embracing her hair with a spray of roses.

Death Seizes a Woman, 1934

The eight images on the painting portray the visit of death to the members of the society that are most vulnerable. The woman who appears to be impoverished and kids depict how the artist had often recorded in her long profession of socially involved printmaking.

Venus de Milo

The statue is designed using Parian marble and is 6 feet and 8 inches in height, excluding its plinth. It is perceived to depict Aphrodite who was a Greek goddess of physical beauty and love.
