The youngest three out of five children of the James family aged nine years, twelve years, and sixteen years, escaped war from their home country several years ago, after which they relocated to a nearby country where they were placed in a mandatory camp. However, the camp they were placed in ran out of resources to support the many refugees who were coming. The occurrences led executives to relocate some of the refugees to handle the needs of the remaining refugees.

The three children of the James family were among those transferred to the camp, although it was also struggling with sustaining the surging numbers of refugees. While at the camp, the children did not receive all the necessary services to allow them to cope well. Their emotional and mental situation worsened due to being separated from their family members and other close relatives as well as the poor treatment they received at the camp.

Due to the deteriorating condition of the children, they were relocated to the third camp in a different country where they anticipated their treatment would be better. Initially, the children enjoyed close relationships with their parents and elder siblings as well as close relatives before war broke in their home country. Since they were diagnosed with Schizoid Personality Disorder during childhood, the children have trouble developing close relationships with other children at the camp and prefer keeping to themselves.

The children showed signs of emotional coldness and detachment while the condition keeps worsening as they are transferred from camp to camp. This impacted their previously diagnosed Schizoid Personality Disorder severely. However, due to lack of support from the camp, it remains unclear what will happen to the children with anybody to address their deteriorating concerns. Their overall wellbeing will keep worsening, which will impact their overall social wellbeing in the future if nothing is done to ensure the children receive the care they require to deal with their condition.
