Managers play an essential role in logistics organizations through communicating a clear mission statement, vision, and set goals. Logistics companies that lack competent managers are likely to suffer from increased losses, lack of an effective strategy, and reduced productivity. As a Vital Transportation Corporation manager, I am tasked with the overall supervision of goods movements, the distribution, and warehousing of various supplies and equipment in the firm. Additionally, I ensure that there is sufficient planning of routes to be used, scrutinize budget estimates, and ensure that shipments are efficient. It is vital for logistics managers to sufficiently coordinate the distribution of employees or goods from one destination to another.
