The aim of John is reinforcing the trust of the subsequent generation supporters. He not only wanted to correct the deceitful education that was increasing in the first era but also to spread the gospel to other people in the world ( Cassidy 2015 ). John stressed that Jesus is the Son of God differing to the deceitful principle that educated the Christ-spirit, originated as human Jesus at His ceremony during baptism, and left Him at the suffering.

John 6:35,51 Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger,

and he who believes in Me shall never thirst ” ( Cassidy 2015 ). Through this scripture, Jesus tries to the point that the Manna that sustained the Israelites in the wilderness came from heaven did not originate from the Moses. These symbolize how Jesus came from heaven to give life to the world. He titled himself as the life-giving bread, as His mission was to do the will of His Father.

In John 8:12 Jesus discloses, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me

shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” ( Brown 2010 ). He metaphorically uses light for the truth of the gospel and the darkness to refer to spiritual blindness. As the Pharisees ignored Jesus as they said, “You lie, for you have no corroboration” Jesus responded that He needed no witness has He knew He came from the glorious throne of the God Almighty ( Hill 2016 ). These shows that the knowledge of the law did not lead them to understand the knowledge of the Christ.

According to John 10:7, 9 Jesus reveals, “ . . . I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” ( Brown 2010 ). These serves to emphasize His character with Yahweh. Jesus used this imagery to show that God is the only place of safety. The life that Jesus gives is abundant and eternal and whoever desires them must pass through the door of Lord Jesus. Similarly, failure to which will find a wide path to the destruction.

Jesus declares, “ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” in John 10:11,14-15 ( Bennema, 2014 ). The good shepherd is a metaphor, which Jesus uses to connect the man blindness as he highlights leader’s failure to shepherd the people. As the shepherds will defend their sheep until death, Jesus compares His relationship with His Father. He declares by giving His life will secure salvation to His people.

Jesus said in John 11:25-26, “ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” ( Temple 2016 ) . He declared the Lazarus sickness as the glory of the Lord by showing the Gods power to the people. By resurrecting Lazarus, he not only show the power he has over death but also the power of resurrection. Through this, he tells Martha that he came spiritual life abundant and possible.

In John 14:6 Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” through this he puts the disciple's hearts at ease by assuring that despite his absence He will return to ensure that they are united ( Bennema, 2014 ). He says no one will go to the Father except through Him.

Jesus declares that, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” in John 15:1, 5 ( Brown 2010 ). These pictured the church was some people profess to have faith, but they are dead wood. He says that he will cut these fruitless branches so that the church may bear more fruits.
