I will monitor the procedure to ensure that they wash even under their fingernails and back of their hands. The second action that I will perform is laying the infants on their backs whenever they are about to sleep. This position prevents the risk of sudden death syndrome. For an infant under the age of 12 months, I will ensure that their room does not have any comforters and stuffed toys.
