In the perception of self, I would incorporate multiple techniques that would play a significant role in building positive relationships. The first strategy that I would undertake is to identify the potential weaknesses of the learners and identify unique ways in which will help build their cognitive abilities. The other thing that I would incorporate to establish positive relations is actively involving the parents in the academic affairs of the learners with the aim of improving their knowledge and skills. The other technique that I would incorporate in building strong relationships is a more social interaction technique of teaching with the intention of developing on the behaviors of these children.

What might you be able to implement in your classroom as a preventive practice?
There are multiple strategies that I can incorporate in building a preventive practice in my classroom setting. Implementation of the classroom design and specific adult-child behaviors in development of support and use of the required behavior in the classroom. The building of the prosocial behavior of children through the integration of positive attention will enable them to be aware of the class routines. Making transformations of the schedule, materials and physical arrangement will enhance children to build their interactive social behaviors and decrease any susceptibility of the challenging behaviors occurring in the children. Evaluation of the psychical environment that is posed to the children will assist to reduce the challenging behaviors from occurring in children.
How might you use social and emotional teaching strategies to better relate to the child(ren) in your care?
The strategies will play a significant role in developing the children’s skills in emotional literacy. The strategy will enable me to identify my feelings, and also the feelings of the children and recognize how best I can control the two feelings for the benefit of the children in my classroom. The strategies will enable me to identify simple words that will be able to illustrate the emotions that the children are currently feeling. Furthermore, it will be essential in training the children to control extreme emotions such as impulse and anger. The strategies will also enable children to develop effective techniques for solving problems peacefully. The strategies will also allow children to establish competent social behaviors which will play a vital role in enhancing social coexistence with other children in the classroom.

Furthermore, I also hold a firm belief that preventive practice will curb children from developing challenging behaviors in the classroom.
What and how will you plan intensive individualized interventions as described in this article?
In my case, I would incorporate both humanistic and research values in addressing the challenging child behaviors. Furthermore, I will seek for the environmental circumstances, interactions, and environmental events that tend to trigger the challenging behaviors in children. After identifying these events, I will establish strategies for curbing these challenging behaviors and enhancing new teaching skills which will assist in building the new communication and social skills with the aim of improving the children’s quality of life.

The hierarchy of strategies is usually represented by a teaching pyramid which offers levels in which the teachers can address the behavioral issues affecting children. Provision of conducive learning environment usually plays an essential role in developing the behaviors of the children in the classroom. Creation of a well-planned approach will assist the children to manage their emotions and solve problems which tend to occur in their young lives. However, each level in the teaching pyramid tends to influence the other when it comes to developing the leaning emotional literacy of the children.
