The theory of constraints (TOC) is an essential tool used to improve flows. The effects the theory introduces to the understanding of bottlenecks through an efficient process of better managing the bottlenecks, therefore, creating an efficient process flow. The theory of constraints can be applied by managers to manage bottlenecks, and improvising of process flows effectively.
The theory of constraints can assist my employer in developing the company to become large-scale. It will assist them in improving the services that will be based on timely delivery, reduction in the number of inventory and fewer lead times in the manufacturing process (Jacobs, Chase, Aquilano & Chase, 2018). If my employer were to apply the theory of constraint in supply chain management, the whole supply chain would be more powerful than it was earlier on. It would work well since the company is a garment manufacturing, retailing and will increase their ROI substantially. My employer should also be informed regarding strategic planning, develop a system that will better let them understand the small complex functions. TOC will better assist in quick decision making processes and will also assist in attaining the strategic goals delivered on time. Applying the theory of constraint will also assist the company in improving sale and marketing since it is cost driven.

The speed of the company is making a profit with will increase, there may be other bottlenecks, but with a repetition of the process, the company will continue improving. The employer should keep repeating the process until no new bottle hindrances are spotted. It is important for the supply chain to make the necessary improvements until when the company has reached its throughput limit.
