Transformational management is a critical approach in organizational leadership that significantly aims to transform the essential processes of the company and its future directions. Transformational leaders in such organizations must understand how to professionally integrate the concepts of information systems to guide their desired changes in the organization and manage the morale of the employees, which is mainly a challenge when implementing transformational changes. According to Legner, Eymann, Hess, Matt, Böhmann, Drews & Ahlemann, (2017), the integration of informational systems ideas leads to transformational technologies that create new opportunities and strategic advantages of a business organization as well as challenging its "historical" successes. Project managers stands at the frontline in ensuring that transformational management mechanisms are correctly implemented within the organization for its future success. In essence, the light of transformational management lies on the informational technologies therefore creating the need for transformational management to control the informational technology systems in the company. Connectedly, the paper discusses project managers as they assume the key roles and responsibilities in the transformational management processes of information systems. With respect to the transformational management of information systems, project managers play the most critical roles and responsibilities to ensure their organization's success. According to Hisrich & Ramadani (2017), a project manager should have an excellent mindset of an entrepreneur and perfect the necessary skill to manage various activities in the organization. Essentially, a project manager needs to observe and measure the organizational levels that need to apply information systems or upgrade their systems to transform their activities and make them more efficient and convenient. Also, through their entrepreneurial skills, a project manager has the sole mandate to ensure that the higher levels of management in the organization embrace change to increase their level of productivity. Additionally, the project manager is responsible for engaging all persons across all levels in the organization in a manner that advances their skills to higher levels through motivations and morality. Notably, transformation management changes may feel uncomfortable for the employee as some are unfamiliar with the new information systems. As a result, the project managers need to instill values and hope for their followers to understand the need to embrace change in pursuit of the organization’s vision. In the transformational management of information systems, the key stakeholders are the employees working for the organization and the prospective clients for the produced goods and services. The employees are persons of interest as they are they are the first to interact with the new information system put in place for the productions of goods or services in the organization. Mostly, employees have a direct impact on the organization's interest as their effectiveness and efficiency in adopting and using information systems significantly reflect on the company's success. Therefore, transformational leaders can achieve extraordinary levels of employees’ trust, motivation, admiration and loyalty through idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation as well as through personalized consideration. Consequently, the stakeholders will fast adapt to the new information systems without affecting their work productivity. On the other hand, potential clients will get the ultimate quality of goods or services as they are crucial stakeholders. As described by Kerzner (2017), change control refers to a systematic method of managing the impacts of all changes as a result of a newly established system. In a situation where transformational management uses transformational systems in the organization, the system is most likely to cause unnecessary disruptions that may affect employee productivity. In this case, the senior executives within the organizations will be responsible for controlling changes and maintaining a systematic workflow and little resistance from the employees.
