Triarchic theory of intelligence examines the level of human ability to adapt to changes in three different aspects. This theory shows that human knowledge can be evaluated at its creative, analytical, and practical form (Tsuji, 2018). Each of these aspects of this intelligence significantly differs from the other and plays an essential role in human life. The analytical knowledge helps an individual to observe and evaluate the consequences of making a particular choice from the given set of options thus adopting the right alternative. When testing the presence of analytical intelligence in an individual, there is much testing on the level of I.Q. of the particular individual. Since it involves the use of I.Q, it is applied by students to tackle assignments in schools.

Practical intelligence is applicable in daily life situations because people need to make decisions essential for surviving in life. The society is structured in such a way that people have to change the working and living environment. For individuals to adapt to new situations, they need to apply practical intelligence in identifying survival mechanisms. Conflict is evident in society and the level at which people solve such problems depends on the ability of people to apply practical knowledge. In situations where people have inadequate skills related to actual intelligence, they find it difficult to fit in any environment thus experiencing both social and economic challenges. In creative intelligence policy, Triarchic intelligence theory examines the individual’s ability to produce innovative ideas that supplement or criticize existing knowledge. It is essential especially in the economic aspect where business people should be innovative enough to create brand products that meet the needs of the customers. The business industry is increasingly becoming competitive, and only the creative innovators survive in the industry.

Trairchic theory covers all life aspects thus becoming a significant paradigm in my life. All the three components of intelligence defined under Triarchic theory are applicable in my lifetime. Though I cannot have strength in all three aspects, daily life situations call for a need of applying all the practical, analytical, and creative intelligence. Solving class assignments calls for a need of having a high level of I.Q exercised through the ability to possess analytical intelligence (Weiten & McCann, 2016). In life, I expect to move to different environments such as workplaces, family institutions, and school life. Each of these environments needs the application of practical theory to conform to the norms of different places. Individuals should possess different forms of intelligence because one form can solve the problems that face individuals in life.

Triarchic theory plays an essential role in helping people to identify their areas of strengths and weaknesses thus coming up with mechanisms of addressing the gaps ( Kaufman, 2018) . For example, understanding this theory has enabled me to realize that I have strong analytical and weak practical traits when it comes to solving problems. The strength of analytical intelligence reflects through good performance in class assignments and good scores in exams. Good grades require an evaluation of the class tasks and the provision of solutions to class questions. However, I have weak practical intelligence because I experience difficulties when interacting with friends and handling class assignments before time. Whenever we are presented with class assignments, I always hand in on time. Sometimes the work becomes too much and feels overwhelmed. Through Trairchic intelligence theory, I have discovered the importance of creativity in coming up with solutions to create strength in practical intelligence. If peers understand Triarchic theory, they will be in a position to bridge the gap between practical, analytical, and creative knowledge.
