There has been debate worldwide concerning the truthfulness of global warming. Most people are still bugged by the question of whether global warming is there or not. However, scientists all over the world confirm that global warming is real. Global warming is described as the gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and its ocean. It is believed that the effect that comes with global warming might lead to a total change in the earth’s climate. In the past century, the atmosphere of the planet has seen to rise by 0.8 degrees Celsius. Research according to NASA, predicts that the temperatures of the surface to increase to about 6.42 degrees Celsius in the next century. Scientists have proven that the increase in the earth’s temperature is not due to natural causes rather it is due to the gross human activities in the undergoing in the world today. According to Wikileaks and the reports on the drought that has ben ravaging Syria, it is evident that the Sandy storms are a key player in the land. This sandy storm has been brought about by the cutting of trees through a switched environmental mindset of deforestation. The understanding of how poor the government of Syria is trying to curb the environmental issues affecting the country is wanting. The government has put little or no effort to save its citizens from the salvage attack of the unprotected environment. The climate change that has drastically been noticed in Syria is immense such that there it has caused climate, environmental, and population stresses. (Freidman, 2014) reports that he has filed a documentary about the occasions that are happening in Syria that will soon be aired out to the world. In the year of Nov 2008, he sent the report to the Damascus State Department in a bid to shed light on the happenings. The UN of Syria sort to seek the U.S. to come and help them solve this situation.
Isfahan is Iran's city that has millions of people conducting business and leaving in it. The city with this many people back then in 1500 – 1700 was sustained by a famous river known as the Zayanderund river. This river had almost the entire population is dependent on it. However, it is shocking today that the once city with a beautiful river flowing through it has been covered with sand a sign of desertified riverbed. The drying up of the river bed has raised a couple of concerns about how the environmental climate is drastically changing. In particular, the water levels in that particular city have gone down. Through political mismanagement, there have been a lot of controversies with regard to the water from that river. However, under President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, he ensured that water was divided for the beneficial use of the country at large. In this case, he instructed the water to be utilized for industrial purposes, domestic use, and for agriculture. The competition for the rare scarce increased such that the U.N. sort to save the salvaging of the environment from damage.

Adam Sweidan is an environmentalist investor who had a fair share of explaining the predicaments that he had with regard to the environment. In his expression, people could not agree any further when he mentioned some of the key environmental aspects that are affecting us today. In particular, he mentioned that global warming has been at the forefront when it comes to devastating environmental matters. On the other hand, deforestation has played a huge impact on society today due to the degraded environment. Nevertheless, mass extinction, as well as freshwater pollution, cannot be left unnoticed. In a G-20 summit that was attended by people from all over the world, there was clearly an agenda that the environment must be protected. At the summit, a couple of measures to protect the environment were raised. Deforestation is one of the key issues that contribute significantly to global warming. Trees are like the resemblance of the human lungs. This comparison is because trees release oxygen into the atmosphere and absorb oxygen from the air. In that case, oxygen which is highly useful to human beings is sufficient enough for utilization in the body. Carbon dioxide which is not helpful in the human body is exhaled, but yet it's absorbed by the trees thus reducing its accumulation in the atmosphere. Therefore, deforestation causes fewer trees to be available for this purpose leading to increased carbon dioxide in the air. High levels of carbon dioxide in the air result in rising in the temperatures earth’s atmosphere and thus global warming. According to (Nair, 2014), farm animals release methane greenhouse gasses into the air. This cause is one of the nature causes of global warming. With the increased human population in the world, today means that farming activities are bound to rise globally. Therefore, the production of methane greenhouse gasses is obliged to increase over time. Methane greenhouse gasses have the effect of trapping heat close to the earth leading to an increase in temperatures of the earth and thus global warming. Fossil fuel power plants also cause global warming. These power plants have exhaust fumes that release a massive amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The fossil fuel power plant more often than not have no option but to impact the burning of fossils which results in the production of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Carbon dioxide in this case causes the increase in temperature of the earth and thus causes global warming. In as much as vehicles and other automobiles are of great importance in making human life easier, they have adverse effects on the environment. Cars and Automobiles are also the largest contributors to global warming. The general effect of global warming is felt on the earth because there are many of them in the world today. Vehicles and automobiles are in manufacturing on a daily basis. Thus their number on the planet is massive enough to cause global warming due to the emission of fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions which are the contributors to global warming. The melting of polar ice is one of the adverse effects of global warming. The increase in the temperature of the earth’s atmosphere is bound to cause the melting of polar ice. This means that the melted ice flows as a liquid into the seas and the oceans thus increasing the water levels of the seas and the oceans. Water will, therefore, flow into the dry land making the dry land waterlogged and unsuitable for the planting of human crops and the afforestation process. Also, there would be drastic changes in climate. Hurricanes are usually a result of high water and air intensity on the earth. Global warming which is a result of increased atmospheric temperature means that there will be a rise in the intensity of hurricanes on land. Moreover, the melting of the global ice in the Polar Regions will result in an increase in the water levels and thus changes in tidal waves bond to increase the intensity of hurricanes. The lives of humans, some impacts come with global warming. Firstly, the livelihood of people is likely to be distorted. Drought, heat waves, rising sea levels, storms, and floods have a significant impact on the economy of the world particularly the infrastructure, agriculture, and the tourism sector. With drought comes a lack of water and food which are essential to human sustenance on the earth and thus it might even lead to the loss of human and animal life. Storms and floods are bound to affect the healthy growth of crops and thus no crop production in the market. The cost of living is likely to rise due to the weak economy. According to (Friedman, 2014), afforestation and reforestation is one way of checking global warming. This practice will ensure that excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is being utilized and thus preventing the rise of the earth’s temperature. Filtration of greenhouse gases released into the air is also a measure that checks global warming. The filtration systems are supposed to be fixed in vehicles, automobiles, and industries that are the main producer of greenhouse gases. These measures are likely to make the world a peaceful place to stay away from excess heat and other effects of global warming.
