An administrative supervisor is someone responsible for General administrative duties of their organization, including overseeing the backing of executives. They manage office managers, administrative staff, and staff assistants as well as training and guiding them during delegation of duties and running payroll. Their main objective is foreseeing that the daily routines of an organization are perfumed smoothly (Aldhahri, 2018). However, major political realities faced by administrative supervisors are commonly related to the amount of work they complete and the level of knowledge they are expected to have.

Identify two major political realities facing the administrative supervisor

Firstly, one dominant reality is that they need to ensure an organization’s guidelines and rules are followed to the latter. This involves a hectic task of having to recall large amounts of information daily in addition to their demanding duties. Secondly, due to the nature of the job, administrative supervisors are usually allocated many employees who, in most cases, may require assistance. It means that one must have put more effort and focus on enabling effective throughout the job.

How do the political realities compromise a “single point of accountability”?

Due to the exhausting nature of being an administrative supervisor, a single point of accountability is usually compromised by the two significant challenges. It is because one has to be an efficient supervisor and have the ability to give clear accountability and details of numerous departments and employees (Asadi, 2001).

How do the political realities compromise financial control over the organization?

Political realities compromise the financial control of organizations by failing to achieve a central purpose of disbursing resources in the local states (Rustow, 2015). Financial power is usually measured by the visible financial government activities with regards to set standards.

Do you think the administrative supervisor has the authority to carry out the responsibility of overseeing all operations? Give an example.

Regarding the mentioned qualities of an excellent administrative supervisor, they have the authority to carry out the responsibility of overseeing numerous operations in an organization, for example, hiring administrative workers, training other employees, and performing administrative tasks such as responding to customer requests, phone calls, and mails.
