The study looks to evaluate the Transgender Law Center as a social-justice-oriented organization. According to Hasanagic (2019), The Transgender Law Center (TLC) is a trans-led social rights organization that advocates for a free world that allows everyone to pursue their lives as they wish. Their aim is to challenge and enable the change of laws, attitudes, and policies to enhance the minimization and eradication of discrimination so as to allow everyone to live free regardless of their expression or gender identity.

Trans Gender Law Center's ToC and the principle that underpins their fight for social change is the inherent equality that exists between all people all across the world regardless of gender identity or expression. The organization believes that everyone should be free and fairly protected by the law against discrimination or exploitation by others for their own personal gains.

This ToC integrates significantly with my dreams for social justice and the principles and praxis underpinning my social justice identity in that, I am also a believer in the equality of all humans regardless of the diverse differences that individuals from different geographical places have. Regardless of anyone's race or gender identity, they should always be granted similar and equal rights in all endeavors including research. And their contributions should be acknowledged through the reception of any benefits that may arise.

Nieder et al. (2019) highlight four key stakeholders in the transgender discipline who must be engaged as a means of reaching the goals implicit in the ToC of Trans Gender Law Center, including individuals in the transgender groups, societies, and movements, Trans Gender health experts, Health care systems and the administrative departments of the interdisciplinary transgender healthcare center (ITHC). These stakeholders directly interact with Transgender individuals on a personal level and are capable of insightfully associating with them and highlighting their major needs and grievances for any research study or endeavor.

The extractive colonial logic of the academy advances that research about communities and social groups was often used to classify humanity, to decide which lives matter more (Kelly, 2002). My research practices for social change challenge this premise by highlighting that all individuals regardless of community or social class or identity deserve to live and their lives matter. The tenets of research operations as such should be based on willingness for people to engage in medical research practices with an option to opt-out at any level without any restrictions which may ultimately cause harm to the individual. Contrary to being able to overrule individual desire by the declaration that a particular community's lives do not matter, my research practices for social change highlight the significance of all lives.

One main principle that will underpin my research from this point is the acknowledgment of the voluntary nature of the process and accepting that all participants must accept being part of a research and must have the opportunity to opt-out at any particular time they feel no longer benefited or able to continue. The main praxis especially in the contemporary world that appreciates diversity and inclusivity is that all individual's lives matter regardless of their social standing, gender diversity, or racial heritage. Everyone is equal and deserving of protection at all points of a study.
