From the interview, it is clear that racial discrimination still exists in the U.S., the case of Tonya battle is a touching one. It is very sad that there are still exists institutions which allow such cases to occur. Hurley Medical Centre, one of the hospitals in the U.S, granted a patients request that no black people be involved in his Childs’ care. Tonya's case is an example of the real practice of racism. Reporting the case to the agency tasked with enforcing federal employer discrimination laws was the appropriate thing to do if I were Tonya, as the law forbids discrimination. This case needed compensation for the damages on emotional stress and harm to her reputation. If I were the supervisor, I would advise Tonya to report the case as she did. This was the best opportunity to curb racism in Hurley Medical Centre.

Children from middle and upper-middle-class experience income drop. Some of the reasons include the unemployment rate for the black families, which is higher than that of the white families. Black children come from families who are not financially stable there have low incomes.
