The organism that one will discuss is manipulating the fungus Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) to develop pest-resistant crops. The biotechnological technique helps create crops that naturally express anti-pest characteristics, making crops resistant to pests instead of common pests control methods such as spraying and dusting.

Fungus Bacillus thuringiensis is used as a biopesticide in mosquito control, forestry, and agriculture. Bt is an aerobic, spore-forming, Gram-positive, and facultative bacterial pathogen lethal to specific insects during the sporulation process. Genetic manipulation of Bacillus thuringiensis can be achieved using transduction methods. The transduction manipulation involves the genetic exchange of the available Bt system by mapping it with Bacillus cereus phages CP-54 or CP-51 ( Karabörklü et al., 2018) . The process allows for the transfer of chromosomal makeup. The transduction technique allows the transfer of recombinant plasmids that carries crystal protein genes between Bt strains at detectable frequencies. Biotechnology, in particular, is valuable in control pest control since it allows for introducing different forms of Bt subspecies such as Cry + and Cry _ strains characterized with insecticidal spectrum ( Karabörklü et al., 2018) . The transduction process allows the fungus to produce Bt proteins effective in controlling pests such as European corn borer.

The fungus' manipulation offers an important stride in making the world grow and sprout as commanded in Isaiah 55:8-11. The biotechnological technique helps to increase farm yields, thus helping humanity to have adequate food. The technique is also good because it does not cause harm to natural enemies of insects nor impairs pollinators in agro-ecological systems. The insecticide control technology integrates well with various natural methods that are used for pest management.

Manipulation of Bt is a potential way of reducing chemical insecticides, which are toxic and very expensive. The fungus Bt is vital in controlling pests, especially in crops such as European corn borer. The Bt strains Cry + and Cry _ is made up of an insecticide spectrum, toxic to pesticides.
