As I was reviewing through the text, I swiftly stopped to take a closer look at a specific piece of art. I was extremely intrigued by the particular piece of art. The piece of art was not that attractive to my eye. The piece of art brought about extreme feelings of fear and confusion. The first perspective of the painting that came to my mind is the violence that was reflected by the piece of the picture. The piece of art had two women and a man in the image. The image showed the unity of the two women holding a sword which they were using to slash the throat of the man. In my perceptions of self, the man was lying helplessly with blood flowing through his throat. In analyzing the picture, the first thought that had come across my mind is that the two women had overpowered the man.

The painting which I was that had caught my eye is The Violent Realism. The name of the picture vividly reflects the theme of violence in the society. However, the image I contradicting as the image shows that two angry women have overpowered the man. The picture shows anger on the faces of the two women who were slaughtering the man in the image in perceptions of self. The women who are in the picture who are slaying the man are representing the end of an era of oppression from the male gender. Furthermore, I believe that the painting reflects a theme of revenge as the women are determined to finish off the man in the image. However, the picture is a historical painting that I hold firm belief shows an end of an era of oppression from the male gender. Moreover, the image might also reflect the significance of unity as the picture shows two women who have combined strength to finish of the man.
