Describe 3 examples of how you might use this site to support the teaching of your subject (history)
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
The museum has various collections of preserved objects and materials of religion, this supports the teaching of history by enriching cultural and historical value. Secondly, the site acts as a storehouse of old artifacts, sculptures, and objects, this is essential when doing historical research and study. Thirdly, the museum has professional development programs and curriculum resources for teachers, this reinforces lifelong learning and fosters exciting opportunities for learners to explore history on exciting new ways.
Would you recommend this site to other teachers teaching your or other subjects? Why or why not?
I would recommend this site to teachers teaching other subjects because the museum has a variety of teaching objects ranging from biology, art, culture, and many more. It, therefore, enables learners to think critically and acquire diverse important skills and dispositions especially when they engage in research projects. The site expands the general knowledge of learners. When they go to the museum, the visit will increase their cultural capital. The site also offers an opportunity for learners to compare and contrast what they learned in the classroom. The site is relevant to others because it sparks creativity.
What resources would you use to augment each of the three examples you identified in #2?
The resources that can be used to augment learning involve, the use of stored information and objects in the site when comparing and contrasting. Secondly, hands-on a project can be applied during research to enable learners to incorporate all senses when engaging in experiments and study. Thirdly, establishing a networked program that is linked to the museum to enable more learners to encounter lifelong education.
