According to the method, it's the role of people in a management position to work and identify what their employees need and then provide a working environment that satisfies their needs. According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, employees would start by meeting their most basic physiological needs up to self-actualization (Stoyanov, 2017). Process-based motivational theory views motivation as a rational process. In theory, employees, for example, analyze their work environment, then develop reactions and feelings and then react in certain ways according to their environment.
