I am a student pursuing counseling psychology and I have studied a number of issues in philosophy that will act as the foundation on which I will achieve a number of professional objectives. As well as living my life in a manner that I am able to overcome my psychological problems and assist others who are experiencing similar conditions.
I will develop a positive thinking approach with the view that any challenge I encounter in life can be solved if I think positively about a solution to it. I will use my skills of promoting positive thinking by assisting those who are experiencing bad thoughts so that they can achieve happiness caused by traumatic events such as injuries or challenges in their professional or economic needs. The issues I have learned in counseling psychology will enable me to develop a positive attitude towards difficulties in the tasks that I perform and those that I encounter in my daily life so that I can achieve positive outcome in terms of personal development and excellence in the tasks , goals, and objectives that I intend to achieve. The issues I have learned will enable me to provide professional counseling services to people who are unable to develop positive attitudes towards other people such as spouses or family members who have negative attitudes towards one another ( Frazier et al., 2004) .

The issues I have learned in the counseling psychology course will equip me with the ability to promote positive behaviors that are less likely to cause harm to me. For instance, if I develop a tendency such as the attempt to use drugs or engage in violence , I will use the behavioral skills that I have acquired to promote self-control and desist my involvement in such behaviors. I will also use the skills to assist those who are experiencing behavioral challenges to change their behaviors to better methods of conduct.
