Notwithstanding this fact, the challenges that I will probably pass through are not likely to dissuade me from being focused on predominantly this profession. Obviously, my major is medical assisting, and two other choices that I draw a particular attention to are dentistry and physician assistants specialty.
It becomes apparent that medical assisting emerges to be extremely important for me, since this very field of activity can endow me with an opportunity to expand the insight on understanding special needs of each particular person. Indisputably, my focus on medical assisting is induced by a strong desire to find out what life as a health professional actually entails. Significantly, considering medical assistant job responsibilities, it becomes clear that they vary dramatically depending on the nature of a hospital. In any way, as a rule, one should know that these responsibilities usually incorporate a vast amount of administrative obligations; to be precise, medical assistants are typically involved in dealing with medical documents. In addition, they coordinate patients throughout the admission process. It is important to know that the given field enables people to continue to broaden their insight on medical knowledge throughout life. Regarding the salaries, it becomes apparent that medical assistants are likely to earn relatively good money compared to other professions. The thing is that modern-day society can be characterized by new standards for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. However, a particular attention should be drawn to the fact that 21 st century has brought a new patient awareness, which consists in insisting on the improvement of community services for people. To become a medical assistant, one should have a high school diploma; otherwise, an individual has to take a GED prep class and get through the exams, respectively.

Looking to the future, I vividly see my job prospects and becoming a physician is definitely what I actually plan. Regarding this career path, one should know that being a physician incorporates diagnosing various illnesses and estimating the need for treatment. In any way, one has to take into account that physicians may decide on their own which area of specialization to choose. In addition, the physician’s responsibilities include informing patients about diagnosis as well as prescribing necessary medicine. One should know that physicians have to assist patients in taking care of their health, making an emphasis on adequate nutrition that people have to stick to.
