Being the CEO of MegaGlobe Business Solutions and dealing with a diverse workforce, there are several steps that I would implement to ensure there is a smooth flow of information between former and new employees. However, there are a few things that should be addressed first, such as the implications of a diverse workforce, the effectiveness of the Team Leadership Model, and the positive aspect of diversity in the workplace.
Implications of Having A Large Employee Base
Broader employee base
When leading a team that consists of a worker with diverse cultural backgrounds, some implications face a manner such as dealing with a broader employee base. This may be challenging because the idea of having a central office might vanish and be replaced with only hubs where employees will be a community through emails ( Griffin, 2010). For example, after opening the business branch in São Paulo, Brazil and Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, it means that the Chicago employees will need to stay in contact with Indian employees such that there will be an interconnected virtual office through which workers will understand each other.

Communication
When the workforce consists of diverse employees, they will likely come with new means of expression depending on their cultural backgrounds. Consequently, this might lead to confusion and frustration when they miss communication signals resulting in lost productivity. Also, miscommunication can enforce stereotypes which can further exacerbate tensions ( Griffin, 2010).
Costs and Profits
If a diverse workforce is properly implemented , it will generate good profits for the company. On the other hand, it also means that a greater workforce will require a large initial investment. For example, because the company is hiring new employees from these countries, there will be a need to employee translators from each of the countries to ease the communication channels ( Griffin, 2010).
Adaptability
The more a workforce is diverse means that this will be an added advantage when offering solutions to problems. However, this might be a problem for the company when it tries to make employees adapt to new changes in the business environment
The Team Leadership Model
To solve the various implications of dealing with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds , the team leadership model can be used to increase the productivity of the employees. The stages of the model include:
Stage: Creating a team
This would involve developing a new team by giving employees clarity and direction. This should include questions about what the team wants to do, how individuals would fit into the team and make sure that the team has a clear purpose and a goal to achieve (Schippmann, 2013).
Style:-Steering- this style that a leader should use is a steering style so that workers will not complain about the leader giving direction while being overly directive.
Stage: Developing a team - this will involve forming a team of workers and making them align their goals with those of the company. However, this might be the hardest stage because people can easily decide to remain in a loose group and refuse to become active.
Style: - Supporting - this will require a leader who can identify the needs of others and use an appropriate leadership style to recognize employees’ strengths and support them.
Stage: performing and achieving results- this will be achieved when teams will be knowing their work and working together to produce results.
Style: - Stimulating- this stage is where leaders will help teams to develop their strengths by encouraging, challenging, and stimulating individuals to excel as a team in what they will be doing (Schippmann, 2013).
Stage: Sustaining team performance - it will be had to identify which team is performing, but a team needs to sustain its performance.
Style: Synergizing -for a team to achieve expected results, there will be a need to bring together ideas, individuals, and opportunities to help employees deliver more than when they are apart. This can be by giving rewards to best-performing teams, giving them gifts, or announcing best teams during employee meetings (Schippmann, 2013).
Positive Aspects of Gender, Diversity, Culture, and Teamwork That Can Improve Overall Business Performance
Gender
When the business supports gender equality, this will improve the reputation of the company since how the business is represented to the audience and investors define the success of the company (Lussier &Achua, 2015).
Diversity
When the company has a diverse pool of workers, it means that this will be a true representation of a diverse customer base. Therefore, the business will be able to retain diverse audiences which will also be more profits to the company (Lussier &Achua, 2015).
Culture
Culture will benefit the business by widening the talent pool for the company. This is because when people are from different cultures, they have different approaches to solving problems which can be useful during the development, adaptation, innovation, and progress of a business (Lussier &Achua, 2015).
Teamwork
The benefits of teamwork in the workplace can be measured in terms of productivity boost. When there a lot of work, members can be allocated various tasks according to their area of specialization and skills so that each can complete a task faster than when employees work independently. This means that workers will be working efficiently, which will increase productivity.
