Religion refers to the belief and worship of a being especially a personal god or God that is believed to have supernatural powers to control other people and nature (Koslowski, 2001). Religion is based on a strong system of faith and worship that people of a specific religion believe. Among the various topics in worship, among one of the most interesting one is the nature of God. Every religion have a supreme being that they believe is their God or god is responsible for specific things in the society; this makes it interesting because all religions have a god hence a standard feature in all faiths. Importantly, all religions view God as something or someone good and do not like evil. The gods in the various religions are also the sole providers, for example, the Christians believe in God as the giver of life, while the Hindus have the different gods of things such as property and rain (McDermott, 2011). The topic of the nature of God is important as enables the religious students to understand their origin and also act following the god's commands to strengthen their faith. Finally, studying the nature of God will help different people to understand, appreciate and respect other people's religions in the society.

Every religion has a different perspective on the nature of God and learning about it help other people to better understand the religion and believes. Firstly, the Buddhism do not believe in the existence of a god, in this case, the Buddhist believe that meditation and healthy living is a key factor to enlighten. The Buddhist lack a clear understanding of God which facilitates their doubt on the existence of a supernatural being referred to as God ( Barnes, 2012) . On the other hand, Christianity believes a single creator who died for their sins for them to have salvation. Christians significantly on God as their sole creator and provider, in this case, Christian seek help through prayers from God. Also, Christians believe in a God who exists in three forms that are the father son and Holy Spirit. Additionally, the Islamic religion is a monotheistic religion that strongly believes in a God who is their creator. The Judaism believes in a single God who is their creator and has a promise to the Hebrews tribe which guide and regulate their behaviors. The Judaism believes in a monotheistic God who is the giver of life and also has a unique promise to the Hebrews if they conduct themselves following his will (McDermott, 2011). Lastly is the Hinduism religion believes in many gods in which every god has a particular role and have a different name.

Question three
Being a Christian and in a nation where there are many religions I have experienced with other faiths such as the Islamic faith, and one fact is how they refer to their God when praying. The Christians refer to God as God while the Muslims refer to their god as Allah. During the holy Ramadan period, the Muslims invoke the name of their creator to help them go through their fasting as they pray using is the name. Also, the Catholics believe that Jesus was brought up in a family setup of Mary and Joseph, and whenever they pray, they request Mary to her Son on their behalf. The teaching and nature of God in different religions enables one to learn and appreciate other people's religions, hence, gaining religious tolerance ( Barnes, 2012) .
