(A). Introduction
The novella is centered on Ebenezer Scrooge, portrayed as a miser. He experiences an array of ghosts on Christmas Eve. The first ghost is that of Jacob Marley, his former business partner. The subsequent three spirits are the Ghosts of Past, Present, and Yet to Come Christmas. The ghosts depict the effect of Scrooge's mean character on those around him. The experience of the spirits impacts positively on him as he changes from his selfish behavior. As the story ends, he transforms into a generous and kind person.

(C). Body
I liked the confrontation of the ghosts to Ebenezer Scrooge since they are significant to change in his miserly behavior to a generous and kind person.
I identify myself with Jacob Marley.
He is a good friend because he doesn’t want Scrooge to suffer a similar fate to his since he was punished for his selfishness and greed.
From the story, I learn that people have a second chance to repentance and redemption and that helping the needy earns us blessings from God.
Suspense arises since some questions are unanswered, or I could ask the author.
The novella does not answer the fate of the roaming spirit of Marley.
Also, we do not see what Scrooge benefits from becoming kind and generous.
I do not know the destiny of the three spirits that confronts Marley.
Is there a change for the dead to redeem themselves?
We do not get to know the judgment on Scrooge. Do ghosts also have a right message for humans? Why does ghost Marley only try to save Scrooge? Do spirits no long torment humans? Was the ghost sent by the creator or by itself? Who was the intended audience of this novella?
I would recommend this novella to someone for it portrays the theme of wealth and injustices.
The story has historical significance as it addresses the themes of injustice and wealth.
It signifies unequal wealth distribution in England.
The characters in this novella acted the way they did to stress the need for Scrooge to change from his miserly ways.
If I were to make the novella a drama, I would present the ghosts with dark aprons, with a scary soundtrack.
I would display the message as a warning. Scrooge would be victimized to succumb to change.
I would portray a good life for Scrooge after behavior change for the audience to feel the need for character change and redemption.
