Goals of the Action Plan |
|
This plan aims to help students identify and detect the signs and symptoms of potential disability and body defects. Students will acquire effective education based on disability, including their rights within the community. Students will learn how to cope up with a disability in case it occurs and how they can support other learners with disabilities. | |
Process and Procedures |
Support for Parents |
Disability is a significant concern for students and parents, especially during its initial stages. Thus, to identify students with disabilities, I will monitor learners' behavior, how they interact with other students, and their attitudes when alone. I will create a list to record learners' behaviors and analyze the list with assistance from a psychologist and a qualified nurse professional. Additionally, I will evaluate learners based on the suspected disability case and obtain support from health practitioners and psychologists (Lewis, Wheeler & Carter, 2017). I will inform parents and discuss evaluation results for students with serious cases. To support children, I would use effective communication to enable them to understand course concepts. Besides, I will use visuals to explain vital concepts to children. I will provide emotional support to children with disabilities by showing affection, treating them fairly and equally to others. Lastly, I will create a study plan inclusive of all students (Lewis, Wheeler & Carter, 2017). I will allow students with disabilities to interact with other students and learn from them. |
In support of parents with students living with disabilities, I will campaign for disability to promote awareness of the community to embrace people with disabilities. The community interacts with people living with disabilities on most occasions. Therefore, people should know that disable individuals are also vital in a community. I will campaign for an increase in education and health opportunities for people living with disabilities. I will push for people living with disabilities to obtain grants from the government. This would help them achieve most of their needs. I will push for disability rights to protect people living with a disability within society against any form of abuse. |
