Expansion of the individual's wisdom coincides with their risk-taking capabilities as they can think constructively.

According to behavioral decision-making theory, asserts that both adolescents and adults weigh the potential consequences of their action before engaging.

The rewards more influence risk-taking capabilities among adolescents than in adults.

Spiritual

"God saw the Israelites and took knowledge of them and concerned Himself about them" (Exo 2:25). This verse can be interpreted to mean people's desire to understand God.

Abstract thinking among adolescents makes some of them question their origin and understanding of the universe where some turn to God for answers.

According to Erikson, identity crisis among adolescents can only be achieved through identity achievement.

The desire to understand their identity is influenced by factors such as; parental relationship shared by the adolescent, self-esteem and physiological changes.
