Least stable and Normal family
The least normal or stable family is the Granger fords. The family consisted of Bob, Tom the eldest son, Charlotte, Sophia and Buck the youngest son. It was the tense situation when Huck first encountered the Granger fords; they pointed the gun at him and later allowed him to enter the house slowly, as they barred the doors behind him. They wanted to establish if he was a Shepherdson and if he was armed too. Though this family may seem to be hospitable, they have always carried a feud with the shepherds. Sophia was in love with a shepherd boy, but they were forced to communicate in secret and later on they run away to get married. The feud between the two family-reached climaxes, the shepherd, attacked the Granger foods resulting in many deaths of both sides members. Huck was lucky to escape the fighting and reunites with Jim.
Conclusion
The most productive family is Huck and Jim; both had the close relationship, Jim being a surrogate father to Huck and friends too. Jim took care of Huck as him own son and set a good example for him to follow. On the other hand, the ranger ford can be described as the least stable or normal family since they carried a family feud with shepherds that later resulted in the death of many.
