Over the last two hundred years, there has been major inventions made with the aim of enhancing our day to day lives. The inventions have a significant impact in our lives considering they help in the provision of solutions concerning a wide of range of problems that may have be vital within the human society. If I could delete one invention made within the 200 years it would be the antibiotics invention. The first antibiotic was discovered in 1928 by Alexander Fleming. Following the discovery, the use of antibiotics spread all over the world. An antibiotic is substance that helps in fighting against bacterial infections within a human body.
The discovery and inventions of antibiotics resulted from the need to fight infections within the human body. Considering there are different types of infections, the discovery of antibiotics played a significant role in creating relief and cure for the different infections that affected the health of people in the society. The antibiotics inventions focused on the medical purposes that involve the treatment of the infections. In that case, the administration of the antibiotics requires proper diagnosis of signs and symptoms associated with different kinds of infections. Upon the diagnosis, a medical practitioner was mandated to administer the correct dosage to the patients based on the extent of infections in the body.

There are reasons why I would delete the invention despite that the objective was to fight different kinds of infections among the humans. Firstly, I would delete the invention considering that it has had a negative impact on the health considering that majority of people engaging in the use of antibiotics became resistant to antibiotics. The continued use of antibiotics to treat different kinds of infections in the human bodies has resulted to resistance creating a situation where the antibiotics do not fight the infections. secondly, I would delete the inventions considering that the continued use has resulted in lowering the immunity of individuals. The overreliance to antibiotics has creates a situation where the human body cannot fight infections without the assistance of the antibiotics.
Considering the side effects of antibiotics, I would focus on nullifying the inventions in order to provide an avenue for the human body to fight infections using the natural ways. The continued exposure to antibiotics is a major risk factor to major health conditions such as obesity considering the components used in the manufacturing of antibiotics. Additionally, the continued use of antibiotics increases the risks of failure of the contraceptive pills considering that the components of antibiotics affect the functioning of the oral contraceptive pill. In interference in the effectiveness of the birth control pills influence the ability of an individual to engage in proper planning regarding birth control thus resulting to unplanned pregnancies.
The discoveries of major inventions have had a major impact in the livelihood of individuals considering that the inventions cause changes in the life of people. The invention of the antibiotics focused on reducing the mortality rates associated with infections within the human body. The inventions resulted in the effective fight against broad-spectrum infections that affect the normal functioning of an individual. However, the continued use of antibiotics has resulted to resistance, which is a factor that influence the overall performance of the human body. Deleting the invention in the human history would mean that the human body will be in a position to fight infections without the assistance of the medication.
