Mexico is one of the culturally rich countries in the world. Mexico has diverse cultural practices but there are some common cutting issues within the cultures in Mexico. The Mexicans still believed in the family as a basic social unit and men married women. However, in 1980’s as opposed to earlier centuries men were not marrying women who would sit back in the house and play the roles of home makers. During this time the women in the families in Mexico are seen as career women a situation known as hybrid social culture known as Judeo-Christian culture. During this period most Mexican families fell into nuclear type of families.

In the 1980’s, the pop music was being played in the Mexican airwaves. This was done through the common the televisa which remains the Spanish-Mexican language television network. The new dancing styles are also introduced for pop in Mexico. The folk dance in Mexico was also modified to suit the new music style in Mexico.
