Technology has undeniably enhanced all aspects of our lives over the years. It continuously raises the quality and convenience of our lives in areas such as education, health, business and many more. In that way, the benefits of technology continuously outweigh the perceived negative consequences (Moon, 2015). Even amidst these few disadvantages to technology, many people have appreciated the conveniences that technology brings.

Businesses have utilized technology to be updated about the state of the local and global markets as well become more efficient. Through technology, several companies have thrived in the highly competitive business environment through using advanced machines to make their products (Cuff, 2014). Such businesses also depend heavily on digital printing applications, which enable their efficiency. However, loss of data can occur by using such printers in the event of power cuts. This again can be regulated by acquiring generators or having a backup system, making technology to still have an upper hand.

Education and communication have also flourished through technological developments. Technology has enhanced communication in all dimensions as sharing and spreading of information is easier and faster. Today, people can take their classes from the comfort of their homes using computers. This allows learners to do their studies at their preferred pace. Technology has also opened learning to people with disabilities and those in remote places (Moon, 2015). Although the challenges of more time being needed to know how to utilize the technology and the costs of acquisition exist, the benefits of such technology cannot be underestimated.

In addition, the benefits of technology have been utilized in the health sector. Clinicians can share information about patients with one another or do a quick research to advance their knowledge of a situation using computers (Andersson, Dasi, Mudambi, & Pedersen, 2016). Doctors can advise and redirect patients through the internet sources to help in their medication routines. Time wastage is minimized as well as the amount of money that could be used for travels to the hospital. Through technology, doctors can make an easy diagnosis and do significant therapies to serious patients using advanced medical devices. This era of technological advancement is highly preferable and appreciated compared to that of the old dark ages where situations could not be contained with ease.
