We will attract an experienced public housing advocate, who will play a fundamental role in educating the public, agencies, as well as elected or appointed project officials about the various issues involved in affordable housing. Most importantly, the attorney will not only create but also maintain a clear record for future advocacy or litigation.

The project’s board of directors will oversee the housing program’s strategic direction. Additionally, it will take a leading role in the project’s executive management with the sole purpose of executing not only its visions and mission but also value to responsible stakeholders (Ketchen & Short, 2011). At the same time, the administrator will possess traits, which help in the creation and maintenance of a favorable work environment, which supports inclusivity and growth and enhances commitment among other players.

People awaited for Public Housing

Public services

The budget strategy planning will attract a variety of public services or infrastructural system. In particular, we will develop, maintain, and improve modern health facilities, education centers, and roads. The contracted developer will have the responsibility of managing the building in addition to providing space for different operations, including a parking garage, a supermarket, and an on-site urgent care facility. Additionally, we plan to improve power and water supply in the designated are for the project with the sole purpose of ensuring locals engage in their daily money generating activities.

Children Services

The project’s strategy will also comprise a broad range of children services, including a comprehensive day-care center, children hospital, playgrounds, and a kindergarten. The services in question will go a long way in ensuring improved health, education, and children’s overall well-being.

Real Estate Development & Marketing

Attract people in the Community

The operation plan will attract the underprivileged Boston residents, comprising moderate, as well as low-income families and individuals. In essence, this group of players serves as the housing program’s beneficiaries. As a way of approaching the residents, we plan to engage them in awareness creation programs. During the interactions, we intend to inform them of the various benefits associated with affordable and stable housing. For instance, empirical evidence has since established that high-quality housing has far-reaching positive social consequences, including improved health outcomes, increased educational performance, as well as reduced drug-related crime incidences (Ketchen & Short, 2011). Concisely, the ability to acknowledge and appreciate these advantages means that locals will embrace the project by remaining active participants.

Developers in the City

Another category of key people will include private or public developers, economically disadvantaged individuals in Boston, the government, private investors, and vendors. On a broader note, we intend to utilize appropriate methods to approach each of the identified stakeholders. Concerning the developer, for instance, we have so far formed Housing Care, one of the public corporations tasked with the responsibility of partnering with qualified and effective developers. The management team in collaboration with Housing Cares will draft a comprehensive and relevant Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit the much-needed proposals from developers.

Informed the Community

Our marketing team will invest in informing the public or community on the various benefits associated with the housing project. In particular, we will identify and integrate persuasive, realistic, and result-oriented awareness creation and education programs. In other words, we plan to involve the community in the whole decision-making process. In this way, the community’s input will help in the realization of the project’s goals.

Administrative Community Affairs

How project is affecting the Community

The affordable and stable housing program will play a central role in helping low-income Boston residents improve health, save money, reach the much-needed or critical community services, and access better jobs. By creating employment opportunities, the project will help in the reduction of crime and associated social vices (Ketchen & Short, 2011; Wang et al., 2018). Concisely, affordable housing has far-reaching positive effect on the community; given it contributes to economic growth and development, which, in turn, increases people’s purchasing power and tax revenues.

Relations/Public Relations

We will establish a change-driven and inclusive public relations strategy, which identifies goals and objectives of the project from the general public’s interests. In essence, the public relations team will place great emphasis on the identification of target audience in addition to the creation of a relevant theme for its campaign and the project.

The project’s risk management team will be responsible for the identification and prevention risks.

Boston Municipality Council

We will engage Boston authorities and other local leaders, who has the much-needed capacity to avail or provide resources to avoid potential risks during the implementation of the housing project

Environmental Experts and Engineers/Builders

The engineers, as well as environmental specialists will help with risk identification since they understand what constitutes construction.
