The cancer-causing cells have to be suppressed and killed so that they do not reoccur in the future. This is done after a patient has been treated. The article equally mentions the real importance of using the preoperative US+ US-FNA or core biopsy. The procedure accurately aids in detecting axillary metastatic diseases such as breast cancer. Besides, the treatment of breast cancer depends on the various factors including, the actual stage of the tumor, the individual’s sensitivity to hormones, age and the overall health of the individual. The main treatment options for breast cancer is radiation therapy, whereby it incorporates surgery, biological therapy, hormone therapy and chemotherapy.

Statistically, the American Cancer Society (ACS) estimates that almost 268, 600 women in America receive invasive breast cancer diagnosis while 62, 930 receive a noninvasive cancer diagnosis in 2019. The actual chances of one woman among 38 to die of cancer are 2.6 percent (Nordqvist, 2019). Shockingly, the ACS further reports that 41,760 women in the US are likely to die of breast cancer by the end of the year. The very first breast cancer symptom usually occurs in the form of a thickened tissue or lump in the breast, armpit or both. This lump causes prolonged pain in the breast and the armpit. Redness or pitting of the skin around the breast becomes evident, resembling the color of a ripe orange. Equally, a rash develops around the nipples. The outbreak makes the nipples to have a red/blood-like discharge. The most prominent breast cancer staging method involves the TNM system. Pathologists look at the Tumor size (T), the status of the Lymph Node (N) and finally, the Metastases (M) analysis. Approximately, there is a 90 percent five-year breast cancer survival rate.
