Changing a school culture especially as a new teacher is not a particularly easy thing. Lack of proper administration is no doubt a debilitating drawback in any institution. Changing this culture could prove to be an uphill task. However, as Clark points out, confidence is vital in pointing out the vices in the administration as well. In addition, the confidence should be stringed together with effective communication. For instance, the educator can hold meetings with the students to identify the various school issues that the administration ought to take up and subsequently forward the issues. Following up on the issues will cajole the administration into doing its role. However, if the problem persists, forwarding the issues to proper authorities as an option of last resort is recommended.
Funding is important in any school since the administration and school alone cannot provide all the amenities and teaching equipment required.
