What were the first few days after birth like? What kind of changes happened with you and the baby?

During this period a lot happens in the first days after the birth period, ranging from physical changes to emotional changes in a mother. As for my case, there was an explicit change when it comes to my physical changes shortly after birth. However, during this period, most f the mothers are encouraged to have an extensive resting period to ensure they regain their normal energy. On the other hand, the period is characterized by emotional feelings. During this period, I grew emotional, especially looking at my innocent baby next to me. A mother feels that a baby lying next to her is the only thing she wants in her life.
What kind of reflexes did you notice in first few days, weeks, and months?
A lot changed in the first two months of birth, such as weight loss, walking and the energy consumption in the overall body. In this period, there was a slight pain as well as irregular cycles that were affected by birth.
Tell me about some of the biggest physical milestones in your baby’s first year of life?
In as much as the baby didn’t understand the gestures and the movement of the hands, during the first step, the baby understood the flow of my hands as I moved it all across her face. During this early stage, the baby started developing a slight grasping of toys as well as my fingers. However, all that went to his hands was redirected to his mouth, proving that she did not understand what was not supposed to be fed in the mouth.
How did your baby’s emotional development change throughout the first year?
The first year was marked with a significant change in emotional to the baby as she developed a strong bond towards our relationship. It was quite vivid as the baby understood that I was the only shelter she could have. Through this, she grew sensitive to other people around her and only felt insecure or uncomfortable in the hands of other people such as the relatives. On the other side, there was a tremendous development of the baby’s emotional growth as the baby started understanding its name when called out.
How did you cope and adjust to those emotional changes?
It was quite easier to learn and develop the baby’s emotional changes in the first year that helped me adjust to cope with the emotional changes of the baby. However, this was not quite easier for me to learn all that especially considering that it was my first child, this seemed to be a new chapter in my life. However, I must admit that it was a difficult moment trying to understand the emotional changes of the baby. In a nutshell, I developed a feeding and sleeping schedule for the baby as a way of trying to deal with the emotional changes of the baby. As a result, I was left with little to deal with in the emotional behavior of the child.
What were some of your baby’s biggest intellectual gains in the first few months?
There is a great development that is noted in the baby’s Intellectual thinking during the first few months of their life. At this stage, the baby was able to show different changes as it was easier for the baby to distinguish between darkness and light, at this stage, the baby could oppose to the dark, developing a sense of fear. On the other hand, the baby developed a greater understanding of the mother’s role to understand that the mother was her closest friend more than anyone else in the family.
How did your baby’s intellectual development progress throughout the first year?
There is a series of development in a baby’s growth. For my case, I was keen to observe all the steps as it was my first child. The intellectual development of the baby moved from grasping of items, understanding its name when called out, to a greater visual development, an observation of my hands was the real evidence that the baby could slightly figure out what was going on.
