I wanted him to freeze to death and get out of this world. How could I let him into my house knowing his previous criminal record? My sister came down the stairs and was shocked to see my hand trembling. “Who was knocking? Answer me!” she yelled. She pushed me aside, opened the door, and let out a piercing scream. She slammed the door behind and rushed up the stairs. I knew I had to take swift action before Edward takes his revenge on Jane.
